Hot water boilers are boilers with an average outlet temperature of 110 degrees. In financial terms, the fluid that can best provide heat transfer at these temperatures is water. Therefore, it has been preferred in these boilers. Hot water boilers can be used in many areas. Main facilities; Greenhouses, Farms, Chemical processes, Food industry, also used in sterilisation, Fertilizer industry, Building materials industry, Paper industry is used in areas such as wood processing.

While hot water boilers and steam boilers share many similarities, they differ in their application areas. Since steam boilers are more powerful, these units are widely used in industrial applications that require steam or hot water. On the other hand, hot water boilers are generally limited to heating applications.

Hot water boiler

Hot water boilers are closed pressure vessels designed to heat water. These boilers allow water to be heated up to 110 °C and prevent evaporation by keeping the water under pressure. In facilities with large volumes such as hotels, hospitals, dormitories, and factories, the demand for hot water is very high. Hot water boilers are used to meet this demand.

There are certain points that users should know before and after purchasing a hot water boiler. These are as follows:

  • When determining the capacity of a hot water boiler, the system must be capable of meeting the maximum hourly load. If continuous boiler operation is important for the company during shutdown or maintenance, using a backup boiler will be highly beneficial.
  • The purchased boiler must be manufactured in accordance with quality control standards.
  • The purchased boiler must have high efficiency.
  • Solid fuel boilers must not be operated with a closed expansion tank.
  • Plastic pipes must not be used in the installation.
  • The boiler must not be operated without water.
  • Cold water must never be fed into a hot boiler.
  • If there is burning coal inside the boiler, the circulation pump must not be switched off to stop the boiler.
  • A chimney connected to one boiler must never be used to connect other boilers.

1. Hot Water Boiler

The hot water boilers manufactured by our company are designed by taking into account the fuel to be used and the boiler capacity. The hot water boilers we manufacture are designed as three-pass boilers, providing high efficiency.

2. Water Circulation Pump

A hot water circulation pump is the equipment that delivers hot water prepared in heating systems, boilers, central heating units, and similar hot water units to radiators, heat exchangers, and other heat transfer equipment located at the highest and farthest points of the building from the boiler.

3. Expansion Tank

Expansion tanks are used to store water that expands as a result of heating. Water expands when heated, and this expansion causes system pressure to increase. If the expanded water caused by increased pressure is not controlled, it may rupture from the weakest point of the boiler and cause leaks. This negatively affects the safety and operation of the hot water boiler system. The tank designed to prevent this increased pressure and potential hazards is called an expansion tank. Since it is a standard component of both heating systems and booster pump installations, expansion tanks are commonly found in many boiler rooms today.

There are two types of expansion tanks: open and closed.

A) Open Expansion Tank

An open expansion tank operates open to the atmosphere. In open expansion tanks, the boiler and expansion tank are connected to each other through supply and return pipes. There must be no valve or check valve on these pipes that could prevent water flow. The vent connection point of the open expansion tank must not be blocked; it must remain open.

B) Closed Expansion Tank

A closed expansion tank is used in larger-capacity systems where an open expansion tank is not suitable. It operates closed to the atmosphere by being equipped with a pressure gauge and safety valve.

4. Chimney

A chimney is the equipment that allows harmful substances such as smoke and gases generated as a result of fuel combustion in boiler systems to be discharged into the atmosphere. While discharging harmful gases, the chimney also creates the necessary draft inside the boiler to ensure combustion.

Hot Water Boiler Prices

Since hot water boiler prices vary depending on product features, dimensions, capacity, and quality, it is not possible to provide a fixed price.
